How do you start eating healthy?

 A good way to start is to begin to keep track what you are eating and how many calories are in each thing you eat depending on who you are you might need to cut back on a lot of calories but besides cutting back watch what you eat like avoid processed foods and foods with high amounts of fats. It's more about quality then quantity. Some people teach that a calorie is a calorie, and it doesn’t matter what you eat as long as you don’t eat more calories than you need. I personally think this is a shallow and grossly oversimplified approach to food and nutrition, which often leads beginners in the wrong direction. While a calorie is a calorie, what those calories are made of and how your body responds to different calories is a gigantic part of the equation and super important when it comes to eating well.
